More about the Innkeepers
David is a professional chef and 30 year veteran professor of culinary arts at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. During his vacation time and weekends (for the past 35 years) David has devoted himself to the restoration of his home, with the consistent vision of Smythe House Luxury Rooms in Barclay Heights.
Justine, David's wife and partner of 29 years, is also a professional chef with a Bachelor's degree from the CIA and an MBA in International Hospitality from Cornell in Paris. She is also an experienced herbalist with a natural foods background.
Enjoy the koi pond and Catskill mountain view. Hosts David and Justine Smythe welcome you as guests in their newly-renovated Victorian "Shingle Style" Cottage.
